General terms and conditions

Validity

The client agrees with all mentioned points of these terms and conditions when doing a booking.
A contract for conveyance is formed by the confirmation of Taxi Christophe (contractor). The service confirmation is an integral part of the contractual terms.

Booking

A booking can be made by phone, via email or via fax. The booking is valid after confirmation by the contractor and the client accepts the general terms and conditions. For each booking a valid credit card with expiring date is necessary as a guarantee. We accept Visa, Mastercard and (no American Express). The contractor takes the right to charge the agreed amount on the credit card.

Prices

The price lists comply with the respective services. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Additional services will be charged separately.

  • Waiting time: CHF 120.00 per hour
  • Driver overnight accommodation on consumption

Payment conditions

The following methods of payment are accepted:

  • Cash (Swiss Francs or Euro or American Dollar)
  • Credit card (VISA, Mastercard), 5% handling fee
  • bank transfer
  • via invoice by arrangement

Cancellation/ no show

The cancellation conditions are as follows:

  • cancellation up to 2 days prior to the pick-up date: no fees will be charged.
  • up to 1 day prior to the pick-up date: 50% of the agreed transfer price
  • less than 24 hours prior to the pick-up time: 100% of the agreed transfer price

Cancellations are valid only if they are provided in writing; oral cancellations are valid only after they have been
confirmed in writing by the contractor.
In case of no show of the client, 100% of the agreed transfer price will be charged.

Damage

The passengers will be made liable for damage caused on or in the vehicles. The cleaning of excessive dirt in the car will be charged to the passengers.
Smoking in all vehicles is not allowed.

Insurance

All vehicles are registered in accordance with the law, and the drivers are in possession of the professional drivers licenses as required by law. Vehicles and occupants are comprehensively insured.

AOB

The contractor cannot be held responsible for last minute cancelled transfers, delays, missed flights etc. which result from an act of God such as weather conditions, traffic jams etc.
For all cases at issue, which are not regulated in these conditions, the Swiss Law of Obligations applies.
Court jurisdiction is 3930 Visp, Switzerland.
