With information, tips and weather forecasts, it’s the ideal travel companion in the Zermatt – Matterhorn destination.
The app offers a live piste map, snow reports and webcam images, a shop selling Zermatt cable car ski passes and important information about the whole resort, customised for each user. For example, you can see the weather forecast for your current location or the route to a specific location.
The Matterhorn app, currently available in German and English, can be downloaded from the app store for iPhones (iOS) and from Google Play for Android.

The Zermatt ski region has been awarded first place nationally and second place internationally in the poll for "Best Ski Resort 2018". 46,000 winter sports enthusiasts were surveyed over winter 2017/18 in 55 ski regions across five countries, making the "Best Ski Resort" the largest customer satisfaction study in the Alps. Zermatt achieved category wins with regard to safety on the slopes, ambience, comfort, exclusivity and authenticity.

After around two-and-a-half years’ construction work, the "Matterhorn glacier ride" – the world’s highest 3S cableway – has finally opened as planned, and Zermatt has gained a new attraction.
From the beginning of the 2018/19 winter season, passengers will be able to use the new cableway to reach the Klein Matterhorn.
