Intersport Ski Festival Zermatt
Test over 900 skis on the ski slopes of Zermatt together with top ex-ski cracks - something like this can only be found exclusively at the Intersport Ski Festival in Zermatt. This will take place for the 42nd time from 23 - 28 November 2021. We are partners of the Intersport Ski Festival in Zermatt and look forward to welcoming you. With the Clean and Safe label we commit ourselves to the special protection against the Covid-19 virus for our guests in our taxi and parking facilities in Täsch and Zermatt. Our protection concept consists of plexiglass panes at the reception, disinfectants and a friendly smile instead of a handshake.Our drivers also wear masks and gloves when driving and when reloading luggage upon request. Our vehicles are cleaned regularly. In addition, you can pay contactless for your trips in a taxi or electric vehicle. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Light is hope! In this sense, Zermatt illuminated the Matterhorn daily from 24 March 2020 to 26 April 2020. The projections are over now. With the illumination of the Matterhorn, Zermatt sent a sign of hope and solidarity out into the world for five weeks during the difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic. They began in hopes of giving courage to the people. In hopes that we will soon return to our accustomed everyday life, they have finished the illuminations. The positive effect remains!

The lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic is causing a great deal of uncertainty and reduced sales for almost every industry in Switzerland. Instead of falling into a state of shock, the Zermatt Bergbahnen AG (ZBAG) concentrates on the time “when this is all over”. Despite the difficult starting position, the Board of Directors has decided to make the major investments of around 60 million Swiss francs over the next two years as planned. The additional financing provided by the banks also contributes to this decision. As soon as the weather conditions allow and no further official decisions relating to the coronavirus prevent construction work from taking place, ZBAG will commence the task of building the new Kumme gondola lift and continue work on the Matterhorn glacier ride II 3S cableway project.

As of now, an AED, an Automated External Defibrillator, is available around the clock. It is located to the left of our check-in entrance, right next to the blue key box. After a cardiac arrest, every second counts. Every day, 22 people in Switzerland suffer a cardiovascular arrest. In this situation, a defibrillator can save lives. With clear pictograms and voice instructions, the defibrillator guides specialist users and laypersons safely through optimal and guideline-based resuscitation.
From now on, you can pay your trip with our electric taxis by credit card. We are proud to be the first electric taxi company in Zermatt which offers such a service. Thanks to the CCV devices, you can pay for your journey quickly and easily without cash. We accept all common cards. We look forward to seeing you!
